The New Comstock is also important to Washoe County and Carson City.  Visible from the state capitol the New Comstock is the region’s largest symbol for Northern Nevada’s commitment to green, sustainable energy. The New Comstock will provide valuable tax revenue for Storey County, Washoe County and Carson City as well as approximately 15 long-term jobs.
